This notice covers cobaltshields.com. It describes what this website collects, why, and who else is involved.
It does not cover information you give us during a client engagement. That is handled under the agreement we sign with you. Clients and prospective clients can request our information handling practices at info@cobaltshields.com.
What this site collects
Some of it you give us. When you email us, fill in our contact form, or book a call, we receive what you chose to share — typically your name, email address, phone number if you give one, organization, and whatever you tell us about your situation. Booking a call also records the time you picked and any notes you add.
The rest happens automatically. Cloudflare hosts this site and processes the technical details of every request — IP address, browser type, the page asked for — to serve the page and protect the site from attack. We have not turned on request logging, so those records don’t come to us and we don’t store them.
We keep your contact details in our business records so we can reply to you and manage our work together.
This website takes no payments.
Why we use it

- To understand which pages and ads bring people here
- To meet legal and regulatory obligations
We don’t sell your information, and we don’t share it for anyone else’s marketing.
Who else is involved
A small number of established providers, each under its own agreement and security program:

Each of these handles information under its own terms. Beyond them, we share what you send us when you ask us to, or when the law requires it.
Cookies and tracking
This website sets no cookies of its own and runs no third-party tracking scripts. It is a set of static pages, and nothing here follows you between visits.
Two things sit outside that. Booking a call takes you to our scheduler at Cal.com, a separate service with its own privacy terms. And while we are running advertising, Google and LinkedIn use their own measurement to tell us that a click led to an inquiry — you can control that through your browser settings and through those platforms’ ad preference pages.
How long we keep it
- Inquiries, booking records and correspondence: typically no more than three years after our last contact with you, then deleted.
- Server records: we don’t receive or keep them, as described above.
Your choices
Email info@cobaltshields.com and we will, within 30 days:
- tell you what information we hold about you
- correct anything wrong
- delete it, unless we’re required to keep it
- stop contacting you
You never need an account with us to ask for any of this.
Who can see it
Access is limited to Cobalt Shields’ employees and contractors, and to the providers listed above.

This describes how we handle information collected through this website today. It is a description of our practices, not a contract, and it creates no contractual rights.
Changes
We update this page when our practices change, and move the date at the top.
